In Leiden the former head office of Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) on the Vondellaan 47 is under redevelopment by Delta and VolkerWessels. The now empty building will be demolished and rebuilt as the new sustainable head office for HMC. It was the growth of the organization that prompted their search for new premises. The new design will facilitate future growth and will provide a work place in tune with today’s way of working. Its efficient design incorporates the new way of working with a modest but appropriate look for the company. The redevelopment of the existing property location is an extremely sustainable solution that fits well with the philosophies of the parties involved. The office will be constructed by Wessels Zeist, and the architect is OPL Architecten from Utrecht.
