Rotterdam Logistics Park

Logistics

Completely new, sustainable and strategically located: Rotterdam Logistics Park (RLP) offers numerous advantages. As part of the Port of Rotterdam, RLP is an ideal location for manufacturing and distribution companies in the Rijnmond region.

Because RLP is built sustainably, operational costs are lower. For example, the park is energy positive through the use of solar panels, which the tenant can decide to lease. And thanks to the use of design-for-reuse, the residual value of the premises is higher, which allows for lower operational costs. Flexibility is a key word at Rotterdam Logistics Park. The units at RLP can be partitioned to suit your needs. But that also applies to the rental period. We can discuss shorter and longer rental periods with you, whereby part of the rental period can be longer and part shorter. Flexible, in other words.
A productive working environment is created in RLP. That means: sufficient daylight, greenery, healthy materials and a pleasant climate. All aspects that have a positive impact on employees and contribute to reduced absenteeism and increased productivity.
Foundation of future-proof logistics
From the very first design of RLP, future regulations have been taken into account. The European Union is rapidly introducing rules relating to sustainability and energy efficiency. Rules that, moreover, are increasingly being tightened. RLP, especially around CO₂ and energy, is already responding to those regulations. After completion, the park is expected to have as much as 40% energy left over at full peak load. Several sustainable innovations such as CO₂ purifying paving and planting provide noise reduction, wind protection and enhance biodiversity.
The park is being developed in an ecologically responsible manner according to the Circular Cradle to Cradle philosophy. Non-harmful and Cradle to Cradle certified materials are used and the buildings are Designed for Re-use, allowing building materials to return to biological and technological cycles at the end of their life cycle.

Sustainable Development Goals
